Position Overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Office Cleaners to service professional office spaces in downtown Chicago. Most cleaning assignments occur in the evenings after business hours.
This role involves maintaining office environments through routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, restroom cleaning, and maintaining common areas.
Key Responsibilities
Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors.
Dust desks, furniture, and office surfaces.
Empty trash and recycling bins.
Clean and sanitize restrooms.
Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as door handles, switches, and shared equipment.
Maintain breakrooms and kitchen areas.
Ensure assigned areas meet ZENVY cleaning standards.
Secure buildings or suites after service when required.
Experience
Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures is helpful.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Reliable transportation to travel to scheduled job sites.
Clear communication skills to follow instructions and report any issues when needed.
